About us
Octane Logistics has been designed to cater for your cars’ transportation needs. We offer the option of a fully enclosed, safe, discreet door to door service, ensuring that your vehicle arrives in the same condition it leaves in. Whether you have sold or purchased a vehicle, relocating, or wanting your car sent away for servicing or restoration, we can move it New Zealand wide. We also have groomers we work with, so we can build this into the service if you wish.
Hayden and Leonie Miles are passionate car enthusiasts, and members of local car clubs. Whether your vehicle is American muscle, classic, JDM, or exotic, we will treat your asset with the care and respect it deserves. Hayden, your driver, has a military background and over 20 years of experience in the heavy transport industry. Leonie has vast event management experience, and an extensive background in administration.
You can be sure you are in good hands with the booking and transport process, with peace of mind that you are dealing directly with the company owners.
Who we are
One of our personal cars was damaged in transit on the back of an open truck, we have also heard similar stories of cars being delivered damaged, dirty and in many cases treated poorly.
We decided to create Octane Logistics to provide a better experience for other car enthusiasts, including GPS tracking so you can monitor your cars journey, using leather driving gloves when moving your car, floor protection, and clothing with no domes so there is no marking the interior of your car.
You will receive this attention to detail whichever trailer you choose.
Why we created Octane
We have a large, fully enclosed trailer which has been custom designed and built specifically for low and wide cars. Unlike most other transporter trailers, the floor goes over the top of the wheel arches, allowing for a flat floor and 2.3 metre internal width. The trailer has gull-wing doors on both sides so we can open car doors without any contact with the interior of the trailer.
If required, we also have a 12000lb winch on board, if your car is not running, or you if would prefer us to use this option.
Our tow vehicle is a late model ute which allows us to get to residential areas that a large truck is unable to.
We have also added a Futura lowering trailer to our fleet, with stone guard. This trailer has an approach angle of less than 3 degrees, ideal for race cars. This trailer has no ramps as the deck of the trailer lowers down to nearly flat. This trailer also has a winch.

FAQs
Do you travel to the South Island?
Yes we do, we travel anywhere in New Zealand, any time of year.
What if I don’t want people seeing my car?
On our Terms and Conditions you will have an option to say you do not want your car used for marketing purposes or in public view. We know that there are several very rare, valuable or collectable cars in New Zealand that aren’t for everyone’s eyes, and we respect that. Just let us know, and your vehicle wont be seen by anyone.
Will you cart car parts?
Yes and no. We will only cart parts with the customers car, that will fit in the tray of our ute. We will not carry parts in the trailer as we want to eliminate any risk of damage to your car. And we only will transport parts for the owner of the vehicle that is on board.
How much do you cost?

Is my vehicle insured when its on board?
Its up to you to cover the insurance when your vehicle is with us, however, if in the unlikely event we do any damage to your car, we will cover up to $2,000 towards your insurance excess.
